The privacy of our customers is very important to us and we will endeavour to ensure any information is handled accordingly.

The following Privacy Policy forms part of our terms and conditions.

Please note that by registering your e-mail address for our newsletter, or by registering as an advertiser with us, you give permission for this data to be transferred to a buyer of the business in the event that Discovery Villas Ltd is sold. 

Any information entered into our booking enquiry forms will be passed to the advertiser for the purpose of assisting you with your booking. Discovery Villas Ltd is not reponsible for any use of your data beyond this point. However, if you are concerned that a user is misusing your data you should contact them in the first instance, but also please do let us know so that we can monitor the issue. We do take your privacy seriously and will not tolerate any abuse of this by our advertisers.

We are currently trialling a third party product which tracks user movement around certain public pages on our site (such as the homepage). This software tracks users as anonymous sessions and so we cannot associate this information with any individuals.

Additional Information for advertisers

All important personal and account information will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998).

Advertisers accept that any information provided for the purpose of the advert will, by the very nature of the advert, be available to the public.

Discovery Villas Ltd regret that it cannot accept responsibility for any misuse of this information by third parties.

To assist us in protecting our customers from internet fraud we may record your IP address when registering for an account, or, when a transaction takes place.

To help protect you from the risk of e-mail abuse (spam) we use e-mail booking enquiry forms and hide your e-mail address from general view.

If you would rather keep your full contact details private, this can be arranged by subscribing to our "Enquiry Messenger Service"

To assist us in maintaining up to date e-mail information, we occasionally send emails or e-newsletters to our customers. By registering you are agreeing to receive these emails whilst your account is active.

All advertisers accept that, whilst Discovery Villas Ltd endeavour to keep all information secure, it will not be held responsible for any information accessed or lost as a result of a security attack. However, in the event of a security attack Discovery Villas Ltd will make every effort to rectify the situation as soon as it becomes aware of a problem.
